Description
Oyster 595 C&C - NEW LISTING
C&C is a 2024 Oyster 595 that represents some of Oyster’s most advanced contemporary design and engineering. It blends performance, durability, and comfort in a bluewater cruiser that is both compact and easily handled. The hull is constructed in FRP with carbon reinforcements under Lloyd’s supervision, creating a strong yet weight-efficient structure. Twin rudders offer precise control with reduced drag, while the high-performance bulb keel delivers excellent stability and upwind capability.
Its Seldén rig, featuring hydraulic in-mast furling and upgraded laminate sails, paired with electric Lewmar winches, ensures powerful yet easily managed sail handling, even for a short-handed crew. The deck plan is optimised for both safe ocean passages and comfortable cruising, perfect for extended passages onboard. Whilst the hydraulic fold-down transom with teak platform and integrated passerelle enhances access for boarding and water activities, combining functionality with luxury.
Below deck, C&C offers understated elegance with satin oak joinery, abundant natural light from seascape windows, and a thoughtful layout with eight berths in four cabins. The interior combines Oyster’s robust seagoing practicality—grab rails, secure storage, lee cloths—with high-end finishes and modern systems like Quooker boiling water, induction cooking, integrated dishwasher, and full climate control. The saloon and owner’s stateroom are particularly luxurious, and the use of premium materials like Vispring mattresses and Hi Macs countertops highlight the level of fit-out.
Technically, C&C is extremely well-equipped: Volvo Penta 150hp engine, Onan generator, Sleipner bow and stern thrusters, Dessalator watermaker, and lithium battery bank. The navigation suite is top-tier with B&G Zeus³ systems, HALO radar, Starlink satellite internet, and a full CZone digital switching network for monitoring and control. Safety is comprehensive, including watertight bulkheads, advanced bilge systems, ISO liferaft, and thermal imaging night vision.
What makes C&C great is this combination of cutting-edge engineering, luxurious comfort, and serious ocean-going capability, all in a size that remains manageable for family cruising or short-handed sailing. It embodies Oyster’s reputation for producing yachts that can circle the globe in style and safety.
Highly specified and presented in immaculate condition, C&C is available with a full manufacturer’s warranty and an exclusive place on the Oyster World Rally. It’s a unique opportunity to avoid a lengthy waiting list for one of Oyster’s most sought after models, and to take the adventure of lifetime.

1. CONSTRUCTION
HULL NUMBER
Oyster 595/12.
HULL CONSTRUCTION
Moulded in FRP from computer controlled-cut female moulds, built under the close supervision of the Oyster Design and Technical Offices, and Lloyd’s Register Surveyors. Structural design has been engineered to meet the Lloyd’s Register Special Service Craft Rule to ensure a strong, rigid, and weight-efficient structure. The FRP lay-up specification is calculated to meet and exceed ISO12215 standards.
Structures are hand laminated under carefully controlled and monitored conditions. Mast and aft keel bulkheads are cored, vacuum infused composite construction, with other bulkheads in BS1088 marine plywood.
Hull laminated using vinylester resin. The outer topside finish is a ‘white’ NPG resin gelcoat.
Laminate material comprises a combination of E-glass multiaxial fabrics with unidirectional carbon fibre along the primary load-paths and in high-stress areas. This ‘custom’ laminate offers significant weight savings with strength and stiffness advantages over a traditional GRP construction. Using carefully specified unidirectional, biaxial, triaxial and quadriaxial fabrics selected to respond to localised stress requirements the design produces a tough and weight efficient structure with higher fibre to resin ratios than a conventional laminate.
Above the waterline the topside laminate is a high-tech, cored structure in E-glass providing strength, stiffness and insulation. Below the waterline, the hull features a monolithic (single-skin) composite laminate forward of the aft keel bulkhead, reinforced with stringers and floors. Aft of the keel the hull area is a cored structure, with core replaced locally with structural in-fills for penetrations and other specific areas of structural support.
Additional reinforcements using a combination of vacuum infused L-beam girders and top hat foam cored girders are included in the way of the keel recess, the keel longitudinals, mast step area, P-bracket, and chain plates. Primary structure is constructed using unidirectional carbon fibre cappings. The transverse keel floors are biaxial E-glass web plates reinforced with carbon fibre.
The structure supporting the main V1 and D1 chainplates is constructed from unidirectional carbon fibre, bonded to the hull skin to give a strong and stiff structure. Limber holes and/or tubes are installed at appropriate points.
HULL FINISH
‘White’ hull with cove line and double boot top lines in ‘Silver Grey.’
DECK CONSTRUCTION
Moulded in FRP with a ‘white’ gel coat finish to the cockpit and coachroof. The deck is a PVC foam sandwich structure for strength and insulation. There are resin infused glass/carbon fibre L-beams below the deck providing support to the heavily loaded parts of the structure. In load-bearing areas the core is replaced with solid material for additional strength. All load-bearing fittings have backing plates.
The deck sits on a return flange moulded into the hull. The flange is sealed and glued with high performance adhesive and secured with stainless steel fasteners.
Decks Boracol treatment (June 25).
DECK FINISH
Fitted with a curved roof to the main saloon deck house and recessed windows. Non-slip surface forward of the recessed sprayhood trough. Pair of stainless steel grab rails fitted, one each side.

Fold-down hydraulic transom flap with steps, which opens to provide a bathing platform for boarding from a tender or for water sports. The large bathing platform is deployed by two hydraulic cylinders powered via the ship’s hydraulic power-pack, with the controls for this mounted at the aft pulpit rail.
Self-deploying, folding steps trimmed with teak are incorporated into the transom for easy access to the stern deck.
The platform is laid with teak decking and provided with a drop in stainless steel demountable bathing ladder with teak treads, which drops into locating sockets.
These steps stow within the lazarette locker. Two ‘bumper bar’ posts to aid docking of the ship’s tender.
Flap in transom for hydraulic passerelle.

EURCD
Oyster yachts that are designed, built and sold in Europe and with a hull length of less than 24 metres are certified to conform with the requirements as stipulated in the European Union’s Recreational Craft Directive (EU RCDII-2013/53/EU). They are produced to meet or exceed design category A which is the most onerous within this directive. This yacht is considered to be designed for winds that may exceed a Beaufort wind force 8 and a significant wave height of 4m.
