The McConaghy 50/53 catamaran was drawn by Jason Ker, who was also responsible for the last British BAR Racing entry to the America's Cup, and realised by the McConaghy design team led by Mark Evans. Built using the vacuum infusion process with pre-pack panels of E-glass/epoxy carbon hybrid composite foam, the McConaghy Multihulls are extremely lightweight and rigid, yet luxurious and safe.
