The piéce de resistance of this STEELER 60S Performance are her engines. Twin 850 hp six-cylinder MAN diesels stand side by side amidships in the engine compartment. With a power output of 1,700 hp and a top speed of around 28 knots, cruising speeds of around 22 knots are comfortably possible. By the way, the two propellers rotate within a so-called "heel": a cage-shaped keel housing that prevents the boat from getting stuck in the bottom or on the shore. The big disadvantage aboard the 60S is... the noise. The torsion-free aluminum construction, the perfect S-Line underwater hull and the extreme sound insulation ensure an unprecedented level of silence on board, even at high speeds, with a sound level that is some 8 dB lower than that of any other fast motor yacht.

The interior of the STEELER 60S Performance is dominated by high-gloss mahogany and luxurious upholstery. There is a sense of craftsmanship from long ago, when "hours" and "cost" were not the deciding factors, but quality and detail.
