Sunroom

Stepping into the main cabin &  helm area from the aft deck, the first thing you will notice is how open and spacious the entire area feels. To starboard is a large wet bar with sink, storage and refrigerator. Across is a large dinette and seating area with ample storage below.  Forward and to starboard is the helm that has a large helm bench that turns around 180 degrees for either captain and co-pilot navigating or for being the life of the party.

This particular 510 has an outstanding helm layout for both visibility and ease of use. Unlike a fly bridge boat, the helm on the Sundancer is right in the main salon (Sunroom) so the operator never feels that they are on their own. There is a full Raymarine electronics suite that features (2) 12" touchscreen displays with Plotter, Radar, and sounder integrated. There is a Raymarine VHF as well. "Be Still" has the optional Cummins ZEUS Pod drive system for joystick maneuvering, quietness and efficiency. The trim tabs and autopilot are fully integrated into the system as is the power steering. With the Mercury Vessel view 4 color display, all of your engine and pod information is right there in front of you. The rest of the systems such as, lighting, horn, alarms, etc. are all on the helm in labeled rocker switches.

Engine Room

"Be Still" is powered by the ultra reliable and fuel efficient Cummins QSC common rail diesel engines that are coupled to Mercury Zeus 3000 Series Pod Drives.  Unlike the Volvo IPS pod system Zeus pods feature an aft facing prop. The pods not only enable joystick maneuvering, but also increase efficiency due to no shaft angle, as well as drastically reducing noise and exhaust smell as the exhaust is completely underwater through the drives. The trim tabs are also built into the drives.

Ships power is provided by an ONAN 11.5 KW Diesel generator with only 450 hours.
