DOMINUS is a very nice example of the successful Cranchi 56 Soft Top. Easily handled by a couple with Volvo IPS joystick control, Dominus provides berths for 6 in three cabins with two full heads and a separate cabin for crew if desired. The large galley and dinette provide living space below while above deck is a large entertaining area with 360 views that opens up with a removable aft enclosure and large power retractable roof. Dominus has spent most of her life in fresh water in Wisconsin with a season in Maine and has been stored inside each winter. With just 320 hours on the engines, she is in excellent condition and ready for her next adventure. Stored with Hinckley Service in Southwest Harbor, Maine, she is inside a heated building and easy to see.
The large pilothouse area is the social area of the boat with expansive views of the surrounding waters, a variety of seating and the ability to open the space to outside by retracting the sunroof and opening up the back enclosure or keep it protected and climate controlled.
The bright, modern interior below features a large queen berth VIP cabin with access to a full head (which can also be accessed from the main salon). Just aft of the forward cabin is seating and dining area that connects to the large galley and steps up to the pilothouse. A couple steps down from the galley leads to a small guest cabin with two single berths and then to the master cabin aft with queen berth and ensuite head and shower. A crew cabin with separate entrance aft includes a berth, head and sink.
The interior is tastefully finished with a modern combination of light wood walls and off white surfaces with fabric covered panels, wood cabin soles and deep brown and black accents. Abundant light is provided by large hull ports, both open and fixed, and well placed lighting.
In addition to the accommodations below the pilothouse area above functions as another living space that blurs the boundaries between inside and outside and provides a great entertaining area.
The large galley is located amidships at the base of the steps to the pilothouse and with a white Corian countertop and brown cabinetry.
Connected to galley is a comfortable seating area with leather covered settees and a dining table for relaxing below,
The forward VIP cabin provides large queen berth and direct access to forward head.
The forward head includes a separate shower stall and access doors to forward cabin and main cabin.
An efficient guest cabin off the companionway to the aft master cabin provides two single berths in an offset bunkbed arrangement
