Mathilda is a stunning example of the iconic Oyster 82. Classically presented, she features a newly painted flag blue hull along with many upgrades following a recent refit.
The cutter rig setup, hydraulic furling mainsail and head sails, electric winches, and additional spinnaker package means that Mathilda has unbridled blue water capability and scope to travel the world effortlessly. From the interchangeable cockpit table design, custom sun lounger pushpit seating, and vast sunbathing recess on the foredeck, every consideration has been made to make travelling comfortable and adaptable to the owners changing needs.
Below deck, the extension of this concept can be seen even more. The interior joinery, crafted with warm maple joinery and stunning walnut sole boards, opulent leather upholstery and bespoke finishes, ooze both style and sophistication. The saloon is split in to two entertaining areas, the upper of which features a formal eating area offering panoramic views, whilst the lower saloon can simultaneously offer the a cosy relaxation area to enjoy your latest movie. This design not only maximises the use of the space, but also offers an engine room which is class leading in size and accessibility.
The accommodation layout which consists of ten berths in five cabins, with additional pipe cot bunks, a pullman berth and even a baby bunk, makes Mathilda one of the most versatile 82’s on the market. Featuring a galley equipped with all the extras, a dedicated utility area and easily accessible sail locker, the interior space is designed to be both modern and coordinated, whilst still remaining incredibly functional.
The engineering features include two high powered generators, one of which has PTO functionality, retractable bow thruster, upgraded hydraulics system, a watermaker capable of making up to 276 litres per hour, and a fuel tank designed to provide the range to take you on long distance cruising trips.
Mathilda had an extensive yard period between 2021 and 2022 and is cruise ready, is built to MCA category 2 coding and easily run commercially should an owner wish. The current owners recent investment includes new sails, standing rigging, the hull blasted and epoxy primed and the recaulking of the decks.
