ACCOMMODATIONS AND LAYOUT

Pitch Perfect is quite an amazing vessel. The vessel was designed to have an open feel that allows for an easy flow throughout the interior spaces. Pitch Perfect is a Nordhavn 56 Motorsailer, in which guests have stated feels like a much larger vessel inside and out. Pitch Perfect has a two cabin and two head layout. Both cabins, the master and VIP guest, have walk-around queen size bunks. Both cabins have ensuite heads as well. The master cabin is located aft and the forward guest cabin is truly a VIP guestroom. The helm is located aft and is combined into the salon. This allows the operator of the vessel to always be involved with the guests onboard. One of the more unique features on Pitch Perfect is the exterior helm station located just forward of the salon and interior helm station. This exterior helm station allows the operator to handle the vessel from outside on nice days. There is plenty of room for guests here as well as there is seating all around. It would be the perfect place to operate the vessel while island hopping in crystal clear tropical water. With over 1200 sq ft of sail, Pitch Perfect will sail incredibly well and with 800 gallons of fuel, she will motor long distances on windless days. Sailing Pitch Perfect is a breeze. She is equipped a hydraulic furler and hydraulic winches. The full batten mainsail is stored in a leisure furl boom that is supported by a Navtec hydraulic rod/boom vang. Pitch Perfect is also set up with the optional spinnaker package direct from Nordhavn. The combination of the hydraulic winches, leisure furl boom and exterior helm station make Pitch Perfect quite easy to sail single handedly.

Starting aft and working our way forward, Pitch Perfect has a spacious swim platform aft that doubles as a dinghy dock while at anchor. Moving forward from the swim step is the covered cockpit area. This is a nice area to have a table and chairs for dining outside or for just enjoying the views while at anchor. The cockpit is capped with varnished teak and includes a BBQ/refrigerator/sink console atop a gorgeous teak deck. Moving forward from the cockpit is the salon with a U-shaped built-in settee to starboard including a gorgeous fixed star burst design teak table. The built-in settee allows for great storage below the settee and outboard behind the cushions as well. On the port side is an 8' straight settee with a vast storage area underneath. Just outboard the port settee is a 40" Samsung LED TV mounted on an electric TV lift. The seating in the salon area enjoys wonderful views to the port and starboard, plus forward and aft, truly a 360-degree view. Located just forward of the main salon is the helm station with a single Stidd helm chair and a large chart table to starboard. The dash and overhead panels are smartly equipped with navigation and instrument controls. The layout of this equipment has been well thought out, everything is within an arm’s reach. Port and starboard pilothouse doors provide access to the foredeck and spacious forward sailing cockpit. The exterior spaces on Pitch Perfect are a true treat with walkways on each side of the helm station. Tall, solid stainless steel handrails allow all guest to feel safe while maneuvering the exterior spaces. The exterior sailing cockpit is a sailor’s dream, sailing from here allows the operator unobstructed views of everything that is going on. Guests can congregate here with the operator as there is spacious seating surround the steering binnacle. This is a truly unique feature to Pitch Perfect as it was an option in the build. Forward of the exterior helm and mast on the foredeck is an extremely deep sail locker access from a Lewmar hatch. There are shelves on each side as well for lines, etc. This is a great place for spare sails and even a spare anchor. While underway fenders can easily be stored and accessed in this sail locker. Forward of the sail locker is a dual anchor roller that feeds the Maxwell windlass. Foot switches are nearby the windlass for easy deployment and retrieval of the anchor.

Back inside and continuing forward from the helm station to the port side is a set of three easy steps leading down to a passageway forward to the guest cabin, which also connects to the galley on the starboard side. In this passageway is access to the engine room, the electrical panel, fresh water system, separate washer and dryer as well as plenty of storage, a very important feature. Aft and below the salon is the spacious and private master stateroom. Both staterooms include separate heads and showers. The lazarette (below the aft cockpit) is accessed through a deck hatch or aft through the master stateroom shower. Both the engine room and lazarette have been well maintained, and the areas are clean and organized. The lazarette has adequate storage for water toys, dive gear and deck furniture storage. This is also great area for spare parts, filters and tool storage. The engine room and lazarette were both laid out with the operator in mind. Nordhavn does an excellent job placing components to make them easily accessible. The water maker has been kept in running order and that the heat exchanger has recently been cleaned and serviced to include new hoses.
