The salon of the 2008 Island Packet 465 stands out with its spaciousness, warmth, high-quality craftsmanship and more than 7ft of headroom. Rich teak joinery plus teak and mahogany floors throughout, gives the space a classic nautical feel, while large, opening ports and overhead hatches flood the area with natural light and ventilation.

Entering via the comfortable angled companionway you’ll find two, comfortable, full-length settees along the port and starboard hull. The port settee extends to the centerline to convert into a double berth and both are equipped with lee cloths for offshore sailing. To port there is a solid teak dining table, which can be extended to accommodate additional seating or folded up to open up the space.

The salon's superior headroom and wide beam create a sense of openness, the ocean rated safety windows provide a panoramic view. Adjacent the companionway is the deluxe navigation table featuring a high-backed swivel arm char and inlaid chart table with storage, the systems panels adjacent and a wet locker within arms reach.

The galley of a 2008 Island Packet 465 is well-designed for extended cruising and includes a spacious layout, perfect for both food preparation and storage. Located on the starboard side adjacent the companionway, the galley has a liner design, which offers ample counter space.

The deck and cockpit of Terratima are expertly designed for both safety and ease of handling. The wide, unobstructed decks are paired with robust stainless-steel handrails and high lifelines, ensuring safe movement around the boat, even in heavy seas.

The center cockpit is ergonomically laid out with seating for up to eight, providing comfort and protection from the elements. Deep coaming adds security, while the high-quality teak trim gives the space a touch of elegance. Large cockpit lockers provide ample storage for equipment, while a fold-out table makes dining convenient.

The bow is equipped with a heavy-duty windlass and dual anchor rollers, designed for secure anchoring during extended stays. Overall, the deck and cockpit layout ensure both comfort and safety, perfect for extended passages or coastal cruising.

The Island Packet 465’s powerful cutter rig provides excellent sail handling and versatility in all conditions, while her easy-to-manage systems make it suitable for solo sailors or couples alike.  All sail controls are led aft to the cockpit, allowing for easy single-handed or short-handed sailing. Her rigging, recently replaced in 2021, is stainless steel with aluminum spars, keel stepped and in mast furling.
