There is a special shallow fish cleaning locker in the stern and a safe-T STP 1600 pot puller lets you crab and shrimp to your heart’s delight without straining a muscle. Alpenglow is nicely powered by her single 400 horsepower 2012 Volvo Penta D6 diesel inboard engine. With 500 hours on it, this engine has been nicely warmed up, but has a very long life ahead. She cruises nicely at 30 knots. The single fuel tank holds 153 gallons of fuel and utilization is an efficient 2.1 gallons per hour. She has a nice Muir electric winch with a 10kg stainless anchor, as well as a spare, for when anchoring is desired.

 

A well-rounded electronics package is included at the helm of Alpenglow, including a Furuno GPS and plotter, a NavNet integrated system, a Furuno depth sounder, DR54D-WXT Dopler radar, and an Icom VHF. She also has a transducer, battery charger, alternator, and all the modern systems you would expect to find on this type of cruiser. While at the dock, plug her into 30-amp shore power for your electrical needs. Entertainment is provided by an excellent Pioneer stereo system with speakers both inside and outside.
