'Tranq'ille' A rare, unique and compact Sea Otter 21' Narrowboat.
Sea Otter Narrowboats are the Rolls-Royce of the inland waterways. Like all Sea Otter boats, they are constructed from Marine grade BS5083 aluminium alloy. It is a material commonly used where strength and longevity are required. Aluminium alloy is a material favoured by the majority of small commercial craft builders.
Designed in the popular reverse layout, this Sea Otter features; a galley to port, the bathroom with a chemical cassette toilet is opposite, following through to the saloon features port and starboard settees which can be converted to form a full width double berth when required.
Powered by a Nanni 10hp diesel engine. Heating is provided by a Trumatic system with an air duct in the cabin. Hot water is supplied by the engine calorifier and a 240V immersion. 240V & 12V electrics on board. Boat Safety Certificate valid until April 2023.
Because of her size and weight, she has the benefit of being sold with a trailer, allowing easy relocation to explore the whole inland waterway networks.
Commissioned in 2005 and launched in 2006 this Narrowboat is ready to view at Pyrford Marina.
A good size galley positioned to port and features Corian worktops with a moulded sink and a stainless-steel mixer tap, Spinflo four burner gas hob, grill and oven. Shoreline 12V fridge with icebox. High and low level storage.
The wet room style bathroom contains a cassette chemical toilet, shower, vanity basin unit and mirror.
The saloon consists of two-seater settees located to port and starboard which can be converted to form a double berth when required. Wardrobe/storage space for all essential boating supplies.
The 240V system on board simply plugs in to the shoreline providing power to the sockets throughout the boat. 240V battery charger.
A Trumatic air blown central heating system is supplied on board with air ducts to the cabin; providing plenty of heat, perfect for all year round cruising. The calorifier is connected to the engine circuit providing heat for hot water when running and a 240V immersion for use when connected by shoreline.
