BRAND NEW LISTING, just on the market this week.
Regal is so proud of this boat the company named it the "Commodore". The compelling reasons are: design, style, function, handling, efficiency, and roominess.
Regal commodore 2665 makes a great boat for the family to enjoy! The expansive elbowroom is the result of Regal’s eye toward providing maximum usable space.
This is a popular trailer-able family cruiser model. She is a well-built 26-footer (overall 29' 2") that combines a roomy, user-friendly cockpit with comfortable cabin accommodations.
She has a well-balanced layout, with upscale amenities and an above-average finish that set her a notch or two above the competition.
You will find this vessel to be one of the more functional boats in its class. Her standard features are upgrades on many competing vessels: a stainless anchor roller with a line locker; doublewide helm seats with bolsters; facing bench seats, the aft of which folds for sunning or overnights; a refreshment center with sink and 25-quart cooler; and a transom door which separate the integrated swim platform with three individual storage lockers. The companionway has two built-in steps and a walkthrough windshield for easy foredeck access.
Below decks the design and function is substantial. Forward features a U-shaped dinette for a meal and a large double berth with the table lowered and cushions in place for sleeping; a cedar lined and lit large hanging locker; there is an aft cabin with screened portholes for ventilation; the galley is equipped with a single electric burner stove, 12V refrigerator, and sink with variable position faucet.
The cockpit is arranged with two bench seats aft of the helm, and the flip-up rear seat converts to a sun pad. A small refreshment center to port has a sink and space below for a carry-on ice chest. The helm features a well-arranged dash and sports a deluxe Dino tilt wheel.
This Regal 2665 Commodore has a cozy mid-cabin interior and has all of the essentials required for a weekend getaway including a standup head, convertible dinette, a fair-sized hanging locker, and a complete galley.
She sports an 8 1/2 foot beam and powerful Mercruiser 496 Mag engine producing up to 375-hp. The 2665 gets up on plane very quickly and cruises comfortably at 22 knots at 3500 rpm. Weighing in at 5,351 pounds and carrying 74 gallons of fuel this vessel has a 135 nautical mile range at ideal cruising speed.
Many manufacturers have answered the buyer’s call for vessels with multi-use capabilities, but none of them seem to match Regal's combination for roominess, practical features and efficient performance.
If you are in the market for a express cruiser, look no further than this 2005 Regal commodore 2665, priced right (offers encouraged). Bring your food and gear and go cruising now!
With an 8-foot, 6-inch beam and weighing under 7,000 pounds, the trailerable 2665 allows you to portage to places unknown once again. The aft cockpit features a pair of facing bench seats, which can easily handle a party of six. With the release of a few pins, the seating transitions into a two-person sun lounge for those looking to take it a little slower. Forward you'll find a double helm seat, with the captain and first mate having their own flip-up bolsters. The ergonomic helm is functional with all the ship's systems within easy reach, and the backlit and clearly labeled rocker switches keep drivers in control. Molded-in steps provide safe accessibility to the foredeck should you have to dock in unexpected inclement weather. It is hard to imagine that a trailerable cruiser can comfortably accommodate a family of four for more than a day or two; but the cabin of the 2665 defies this notion. For starters, the aft cabin's berth is an incredible 80 x 76 inches -- that's 16 inches wider than a standard queen. The V-berth seating arrangement converts quickly to a berth but also provides room for storage beneath the seating -- leaving the cabin uncluttered while providing room for supplies. Weeklong crusaders will thoroughly enjoy the spacious stand-up head with VacuFlush toilet. Add in a large, fully-equipped galley with generous countertop space and storage, and this 26 is ready to go anywhere for any length of time. Her sea keeping ability is second to none, thanks to Regal's OceanTrac hull design. With a sharp angle of entry, it doesn't matter whether you're quartering the waves or taking them head on; the 2665 will land soft and dry. And with the transom's 20 degree deadrise angle carried all the way forward to amidships, she tracks straight and true in sloppy conditions as well.
