Windermere is an exceptional Symbol 45 featuring two staterooms, two heads with stall showers, impeccable teak joinery, roomy Pilothouse with outstanding visibility, large Flybridge with double Bimini top allowing extraordinary sun coverage and fully covered aft deck. With her twin Caterpillar C7 diesels, Wesmar stabilizers and 24V bow and stern thrusters, she is a dream to operate.
Hull:
The semi planing hull was built of solid fiberglass. The topsides were cored with Klegecell foam. Internally the hull was strengthened by fiberglass frames and stringers.
Deck:
The fiberglass deck was cored with Klegecell foam. The deck was bonded to the hull and glassed on the inside. The fiberglass deck had a molded non-skid finish

So very easy to board via port or starboard side gate to Pilothouse and wide walkways, or via wide swim platform to off center transom door leading to generous covered cockpit. From the cockpit, through side by side double opening steel doors you enter into beautiful saloon/galley. Built-in L shaped settee upholstered in neutral leather, fold out teak hi–lo table starboard, moving forward, teak cabinetry hides washer dryer, U line freezer. Port side of saloon has built in cabinetry with media station on top, and breakfast bar with two matching leather stools. U shaped galley with off white Corian countertop, double stainless steel sink, built in microwave/convection oven, 3 burner electric cooktop and built in under counter oven, and refrigerator freezer. Abundant drawer and locker space. Three large frameless windows on each side, small window, double doors and opening window aft, allow abundant natural light. Wood blinds throughout, as well as neutral linen draperies. Teak and holly sole and beautiful teak wood work throughout, all in lovely condition .
Moving forward, up four steps to the pilothouse with center helm, doors to both port and starboard, beautiful L shaped neutral leather covered settee to port with teak hi-lo table. Teak cabinetry throughout, teak and holly sole, seven large windows. Opening overhead hatch and six steps lead to Flybridge.
Spacious Flybridge has twin Bimini top, allowing Upper Helm area to be fully enclosed, or open to make a fully covered Top Deck and BBQ area!
From saloon/galley five steps down to companionway with guest stateroom port with full size off center bed, hanging cedar locker, five drawers, three smaller lockers, two opening portlights, beautiful teak finish. Sliding door.
Across the companionway is guest head with vanity sink, toilet, walk-in stall shower with opening portlight, teak and holly sole.
Moving forward is master suite, with centerline queen with under bed storage, built in cabinetry with hanging lockers and drawers, four opening portlights and opening overhead hatch, carpeted sole. En suite head with walk in shower with opening portlight, vanity sink, toilet, teak and holly sole.
The two fresh water tanks in the lazarette were said to hold 100 gallons each. An additional tank was installed for the collection of rainwater. The tanks and the semi rigid vinyl hoses were in good condition.
