Boat Details
Description
Designed by Lynn Senour, the originator of the Nordic Tug design, the 37 shares many of the features found in her larger and smaller siblings such as a hand-laid fiberglass hull with hard chine and full keel as well as the same attributes of speed and seakeeping qualities. The waterline length of the 37 is actually 39 feet due to a molded-in swim step that is essentially an extension of the hull giving her greater speed, stability and fuel economy other sister-ships on the market. The original and current owner implemented significant product improvements both during the build process as well as over his twelve year ownership term. A few of the many improvements and upgrades are noted here as well as throughout the listing. These improvements and upgrades result in greater safety, reliability, comfort and enjoyment.
Nordic Tugs have a reputation of being well built, seakindly and economical vessels ideally suited for coastal cruising. The semi displacement hull form with single diesel is simple to own and operate and very economical while delivering respectable speed. The pilot house structure serves as a boat or sun deck accessible by the cockpit ladder.
Please note: This particular Nordic Tug 37 must be carefully reviewed to be appreciated and understood in comparison to other sister-ships on the market. The original and current owner implemented significant product improvements both during the build process as well as over both terms of ownership. A few of the many improvements and upgrades are noted here as well as throughout the listing. These improvements and upgrades result in greater safety, reliability, comfort and enjoyment. This NT37 is One of a Kind.
