Hallberg-Rassy 36 was built from 1989 until 2003. A total of 602 hulls were built. Boat No 1-256 from 1989-1994 were the Mark I, No 257-602 from 1994-2003 were the Mark II. The length of the MARK I is 10.87 meter, while the length of the MARK II is 11.31 m, approximately 37 feet.
She is Hallberg Rassy 36 MARK II. Boat was build in 2002 with boat number 561. Mark II has a developed transom with integrated bathing platform. The Mark II is 30 cm wider at the transom compared to Mk I. At the same time the aft deck locker was improved from a higher level than the deck on Mark I to flush on the Mk II. The walk deck also got wider, as well as the superstructure of the aft cabin. Inside this has given the newer Mk II model more room, more lockers and wider berths in the aft cabin. Waterline at rest remained the same as well as the deck length. Mast, keel, rudder and underwater shape as well as engine configuration also remained the same between Mk I and Mk II.
The 36 is a mid-range model. Small enough, yet big enough to go anywhere, any time. Designed and constructed by yachtsmen to combine the latest in technology and traditional standards, it provides comfort and nice lines as you expect from a Hallberg-Rassy
The layout is very well laid out and allows for excellent comfort and unimpeded passage from one end of the boat to the other. The sturdy mast support comes together with the main bulkhead and not through the table or sofa. There is a big chart table in the boat's heading direction where you can sit comfortably.
The boat is for sale by the second owner. Seasonal maintenance of the boat was completed in 12 May 2021 and the boat was launched. There are lots of navigational aids books and publications in the boat inventory. The sails are in good condition and will last another twenty years. The condition of the boat is very good. Boat is ready for round the world. It will be delivered at sea and ready for sail.
She has surprising performance for her type, the result of very thorough work of the hull parameters and shape by her designer, Germán Frers. The moderate V sections result in a pleasant motion at sea normally found in larger yachts. She has won her class in the ARC over the Atlantic as well as local races.

The hull and deck of the HR 36 are built under constant supervision of the Lloyd's Register of Shipping, and a Lloyd's Certificate is supplied with each boat. Hull and deck are from GRP by the hand-lay-up method, insulated above water. Decks and coachroof areas are of sandwich type construction. The large cockpit is well-protected by a windscreen made of tempered glass and a sprayhood. The middle section of the windscreen opens. In the stern is an integrated bathing platform with folding ladder. The interior is finished in mahogany with a matte silk varnish. Berth and seats are covered in superb Dralon material to withstand wear and tear and possible staining and dampness. Due to the well-planned layout, there is always unobstructed passage from forward to aft cabin. Aft cabin and also the toilet compartment are secluded even if doors remain open. Being closely located together, the navigation area, engine room and instrument panels form a natural unit. Ample stowage in all areas of boat.
