M/Y BABY BOSS
“Baby Boss” is an iconic super yacht built by Admiral in 1992, hit the water in 2002 for the first time and she was completely refitted in 2021.
The exterior lines and interior design of the Motor Yacht “Baby Boss” were curated by the architect "Paolo Caliari”, one of the founding fathers of contemporary yacht design as well as one of the major expressions of classic made in Italy.
MY "Baby Boss" faced a huge refitting that involved every single part of the boat, from systems to engines and interiors, involving the experience of master craftsmen in order to keep the original project and the timeless classic elegance of the yacht unchanged. All of this required a major financial investment bringing the vessel back to sail the sea in excellent comfort and safety.
The main saloon has regained its original splendor through the total restoration
of the essences in briar and the total makeover of the coverings, sofas, and armchairs with fine Italian fabrics.
Murano glass lamps by Venini, along with paintings and contemporary art sculptures by the author Endless complete the interior.
The lighting was completely renovated using the most modern LED technology.
The dining area is in mint condition due to the restoration of the original furnishings that have employed master craftsmen bringing back to life the surfaces in essence of briar.
The large oval table can comfortably accommodate up to 8 guests seated on Cassina dining chairs designed by the architect Mario
The lighting is enhanced by Murano glass lamps designed by Venini.
The venue is also equipped with smart TV and a video conferencing system.
The cabins area is located on the lower deck, with easy access from a convenient staircase leading to 5 guest cabins: master cabin and four guest cabins that can offer a comfortable accommodation up to 14 guests.
The spacious Master cabin was also affected by the refitting.
Refurbishment of the veneers in briar wood, the upholstery of the bed and armchairs have been completely redone. Electrical and lighting system have been completely revisited.
The lighting is entirely entrusted by LED lighting fixtures.
Wall lamps are in "Murano" glass signed by Venini, while the comfortable bathroom has faced an entire intervention on the washing systems and toilet flushing with complete replacement of sanitary ware.
The guest cabins have been completely redone by intervening on the wood veneers, the electrical systems and the lighting, that has been completely revisited with the replacement of all the lighting bodies.
All the cabins are equipped with large compartments and wardrobes for luggage storage studied for long cruises.
The bathrooms in each cabin were affected by interventions on the washing and drainage systems of the toilets with total replacement of the sanitary.
The aft cockpit presents an extended walkable surface, with 2 extendable tables with L-Shaped sofas, that can comfortably accomodate up to 12 guests.
The area is completely illuminated by new courtesy lights and with Murano glass lamps signed by Venini.
This bridge has been completely restored bringing back its teak to new life.
On the main deck, the guests can enjoy large and comfortable sun beds placed on 2 different level.
The sundeck has a total area of 40 square meters and has been equipped with a large L-shaped sofas that can comfortably accomodate up to 10 guests.
The sundeck is equipped with a hidden crane, capable of easily manoeuvre the brand new 3.70 AB inflatable tender, capable of carrying 6 guests + luggages.
Foredeck is present the exterior wheelhouse station.
The galley has been completely upgraded, and furnishings have been completely replaced, equipping the galley with convection oven 5 trays, new refrigerators and freezers, top Bosch induction cooking, professional Eureka ice maker, Eureka microwave oven, LG 7kg industrial dishwasher with two Eureka baskets.
Both stations on the bridge and on the fly were affected by complete replacement of last generation Raymarine control equipment.
New HD security cameras also allow surveillance of the whole yacht.
Brand new Caterpillar C32 Acert Tier3 powertrains from 1920 HP, certified for low emissions (Standard EPA Tier 3, IMOII and EU IW.) were installed in 2021 and have now 125 hours each.
In order to make the vessel safer against fires, heat and noise and in compliance with commercial activity the insulation of the engine room has been redone.
The inverters consists in two ZF BW 465, fully overhauled by ZF.
The two cardan transmissions passed through to non-destructive magnetoscopic tests and subsequently revised with the integral replacement of the 4 CROCIERE and subsequent balancing on the bench.
During the refitting the vessel has been equipped with 2 new extremely silent generators 28 kW Kohler located in the control room.
A new compressor unit was also installed for the most varied uses.
The new watermaker installed is capable of producing 200 liters / hour of fresh water that can be controlled directly from the Raymarine navigation system interface.
New refrigeration compressor units were placed in the engine room.
The on-board systems have all been fully revised with the replacement of all pumps with Gianneschi models.
