Classic looks, single diesel economy, ready to cruise and fish! 520 hours on Yanmar 170hp diesel (model # 4LH-DTE) with ZF transmission. Color Simrad plotter with radar and fish finder. 19 MPH at 3,100 RPM
The Acadia 25 is built in Florida by Atlas Boat Works. It is a semi-displacement hull shape and has a reputation for maintaining good speed in rough water and providing a soft ride. The full length keel and skeg protect the propellor, shaft, and rudder during grounding. Nice for peace of mind!
The large aft cockpit provides room for deck chairs and fishing. There is a nice canvas set that includes an aft bimini and drop curtain from the hardtop to the deck. Convenient access to the fuel tank and fittings under the cover at the transom. Going forward finds a full hardtop that protects the bridge deck. This pilothouse area has a hard 3 sided enclosure with opening side windows and opening center windshield. Two helm seats offer comfort and great visibility. The helm has full engine instrumentation, controls, and navigation gear. The port side door gives access to the cabin with a galley to port and enclosed head to starboard, and cushioned Vee berth forward.
Hull construction is solid hand laid fiberglass, decks use honeycomb Nida-Core. Modern materials are used throughout.
The galley contains a sink with pressure water, refrigerator, storage
There is bow roller and anchor, and rode. There are numerous factory installed optional hand rails on the cabin roof, hardtop, and windshield frames. Two new engine and house batteries installed in January, 2018. There is an additional battery that serves the bow thruster. The cockpit deck has 2 additional hatches that were factory installed. There is a LasDrop shaft seal.
The Yanmar 170 HP diesel runs very well and has logged only 510 hours!
