CONSTRUCTION
HULL NUMBER - Oyster 63/11.
HULL CONSTRUCTION - Laid-up GRP, single skin with structural stringers and floors to Lloyd’s approved design specification. Outer hull laminate in Vinylester resin. Basket weave Kevlar in hull from stem to aft end of keel below waterline. Non-structural core insulation above waterline from deck down.
HULL FINISH - ‘White’ hull with cove line and double boot top lines in standard Oyster ‘blue’ (repainted 2020).
DECK CONSTRUCTION - Moulded in GRP with balsa core.
DECK FINISH - Teak laid decks (sanded and re-seamed 2018). Varnished teak capping rail (re-varnished during winter improvement works 2020/21).
KEEL - Shoal keel.
RUDDER - Fully protected skeg-hung rudder.
STERN DESIGN - ‘Sugar scoop’ stern design with bathing platform finished in laid teak and stainless steel steps for access to the stern deck.
EURCD - Built to comply with the requirements for Category A – Ocean.

DECK LAYOUT AND EQUIPMENT
ANCHOR - 110lb stainless steel Bruce main anchor (storm size) plus 260’ of 1/2” stainless steel chain with 70’ of 1” rode at end. 90lb two-piece Bruce backup anchor. 65lb Fortress backup anchor. Secondary anchor rode with chain lead and 1” yacht braid for use with backup anchors.
WINDLASS - 2 x Maxwell 3500 anchor windlasses (winter improvement works 2020/21).
DECK ACCESS - Midship gateway stanchions. Gate to pushpit (stainless tubing added in place of wire rail 2018). Stainless steel bathing ladder.
HATCHES - Oyster custom drop-down acrylic washboard system with pull-up bug screen for main companionway. Lewmar alloy-framed deck hatches. Gebo alloy-framed coaming portlights, all portholes MCA compliant with deadlights for each. Gebo opening hullports.
CANVASWORK - Fold down companionway sprayhood in Sunbrella ‘Cream’ with zippered front roll-up window, and stainless steel grab rail to aft end. Bimini with fixed stainless steel framework and internal tensioning system. Handhold integrated into bimini framework. Side and stern shades for bimini. Covers for cockpit table. Cockpit cushions.
DECK PLUMBING - Hot and cold freshwater deck shower on swim platform. Anchor/deck wash with 75 PSI deck jet deck wash pump with control at steering pedestal. Freshwater deck wash outlet in step to cockpit.
COCKPIT - Walk-through teak-laid cockpit.
COCKPIT TABLE - Varnished cockpit table with stainless steel frame, folding leaves.
STEERING - Integrated fibreglass steering pedestals. Whitlock destroyer-type wheels with grey suede leather covers.
DAVITS - Whittall ED18 davits for 220kg maximum load.
GENERAL - Hull and deck detailed, plus maintenance to stainless steel work during winter improvement works (2020/21). Extended stainless steel pulpit and pushpit. Custom stainless steel fairleads. Two extra in aft quarter for stern-to Mediterranean mooring. Larger than standard stainless steel mooring and cockpit cleats. Hood stainless steel dorade vents. Lazarette locker with twin stainless steel gas struts. Liferaft storage in concealed locker behind helm. Stern quarter pushpit seats in teak and stainless steel. Matching stainless steel posts at stern for navigation/communications antenna. Gas locker for three 50lb bottles.

MAST AND RIGGING
MAST AND RIGGING - Cutter rig with electric in-mast furling. Hood ‘white’ painted aluminium mast. (Spreaders, boom, mast, spinnaker pole, and vang repainted during winter improvement works 2020/21). Preventer line attachments on boom. Wichard adjustable split backstay. Stainless steel wire rigging.
MAINSAIL FURLING - Lewmar Commander 20 hydraulic mainsail furling.
HEADSAIL FURLING - Reckmann hydraulic headsail furling. Reckmann hydraulic staysail furling.
WINCHES - By Lewmar (self-tailing) in chrome finish: 2 x 64 2-speed electric primary winches. 2 x 54 2-speed manual secondary winches. 1 x 54 2-speed electric mainsheet, boom vang, topping lift, outhaul winch. 2 x 54 2-speed manual winches on mast for halyards. New winch buttons to chrome winches during winter improvement works (2020/21).
SPINNAKER GEAR - Aluminium spinnaker pole stowed vertically on mast (repainted ‘white’ in 2019). Package includes chainplates, deck fittings, halyard, topping lift, pole lift, single sheet, guy, fore guy, and all required blocks. Two spinnaker halyards with parking for shackle on dorade guards. Deck stand-up blocks.
STORM PACKAGE - Sea anchor and rode.
SAILS - Doyle mainsail. Hood staysail. North Sails genoa (new 2019). North Sails asymmetrical spinnaker.

INTERIOR
GENERAL - Six berths in three cabins, excluding the saloon. Six sea berths with lee screens. Interior joinery finished in teak. Designed to be modern and coordinated, whilst remaining practical and durable at sea. Essential features include teak grab rails, ‘shadow-gap’ joints between panels, and Oyster custom knobs for lockers and drawers. Cabin sole in high gloss teak and holly. Surfaces in galley and heads in Avonite. Headlining in off-white vinyl. Upholstery in ‘navy blue’ Alcantara. Crew covers. Curtains to windows in all cabins. Oceanair skyscreens to all deck hatches. Flyscreens to all opening hull and coachroof ports. Hella cabin fans throughout.
FORWARD SAIL LOCKER - Large sail locker allows for easy storage and quick deployment of spinnaker. Storage for spare lines and halyards as well as two spare anchors and sea anchor with appropriate line.
OWNER’S STATEROOM - Configured with a walk around centreline Queen size bed. Two large hanging lockers, abundant drawer storage under berth. Full-length bevelled edge mirror. Opening hull ports and Lewmar overhead hatches with Oceanair blinds and screens.
EN SUITE HEAD/SHOWER - Forward of master with Sealand Vacuflush toilet, washbasin, and separate shower stall. Opening overhead hatch.
SALOON - Featuring a large C-shaped settee to starboard surrounding an expandable teak table. Storage within table pedestal. Small locker to port. Large locker to starboard. Additional seating to port. Ice maker.
NAVIGATION AREA - To starboard of saloon with desk that features a flip-up section. Swivel chair on rotating pedestal. Stowage for navigational books and almanacs. Bookshelf for ship’s manuals. Electrical service panel located aft within easy reach along with battery isolation breakers. Instruments: VHF radio, multifunction display, printer, CD/stereo system, Wema gauges, and Webasto control.
RAISED PILOT SALOON - Featuring a C-shaped settee with teak lunch table and opposing navigation station. Instruments: two Garmin multifunction displays, Garmin chart plotter, autopilot controller, tacho and combined fuel flow gauge and fuel monitor, engine Morse control.
ENGINE ROOM - The engine room is located under the pilot saloon floor and accessed via a door from the lower navigation area. It is built of sound insulating foam and barrier insulation. 24V lighting and extractor fans. Tool storage and sit-down butcher board work bench with vice, and cooling fan.
GALLEY - Spacious rectangular galley layout aft of the saloon to port, open to the saloon for ease of entertaining. Extensive worktop space, plentiful storage lockers and large rubbish bin. Stowage for crockery and cutlery. Full-length pantry with four easy slide-out drawers, including a vented vegetable drawer at the bottom, all with plush locks for security at sea. All surfaces in Avonite.
SINKS - Twin stainless steel sinks.
COOKER/HOB - Force 10 gimballed gas stove with 4-burners, grill, and oven.
REFRIGERATOR/FREEZER - Grunert 24V 3/4hp fridge/freezer. Tall front-opening fridge outboard. Pantry doors. Freezer box.
STARBOARD AFT TWIN GUEST CABIN - Starboard twin berth with under-berth drawers. Hanging locker. Locker and storage on port side.
AFT PASSAGEWAY - GE Combo washer/dryer (new 2015) located in locker between guest cabins with storage above and below. On wall behind are fold out steps that lead to hatch opening into the cockpit.
PORT AFT DOUBLE GUEST CABIN - Port double berth with under-berth drawers. Hanging locker. Abundant storage. Two opening overhead hatches.
GUEST CABIN SHARED HEAD/SHOWER - To port forward of the cabin with Sealand Vacuflush toilet, vanity washbasin, and stall shower. Access to watermaker control panel.

ENTERTAINMENT - AUDIO VISUAL SYSTEMS
OWNER’S STATEROOM - TV with TracVision for dish at sea. Speakers.
MAIN SALOON - TV with KVH TracVision for dish at sea. Denon multi-zone receiver. Surround sound speakers with Sunfire subwoofer. DVD player. Sony 10-CD player.
COCKPIT - Exterior speakers.

ENGINEERING
ENGINE - Perkins/Sabre M225Ti (210hp) engine with upgraded Aquadrive and 2” shaft. Twin racor filters with changeover system and vacuum gauge.
ENGINE HOURS - Approximately 4,630 at February 2022.
FUEL POLISHING SYSTEM - Fuel polishing system that can polish individual tanks, direct fuel from one tank to another, and extract engine sump oil.
PROPELLER - Autoprop 27” 4-bladed feathering propeller. Spare 29” 3-bladed Max-Prop propeller in inventory.
ROPE CUTTER - Rope cutter on shaft.
ALTERNATORS - Two 24V alternators for starting and house batteries.
GENERATOR - Northern Lights M843N (12kW at 60Hz) generator.
GENERATOR HOURS - Approximately 690 at February 2022.
BOW THRUSTER - Max 208/3 ‘Oyster’ retractable bow thruster with joystick control (replaced 2020).
STEERING SYSTEM - Whitlock Mamba rod and gearbox system.
HYDRAULICS - Lewmar 400 Commander system located under seat in saloon to operate headsail furling, staysail furling, and mainsail furling.
AIR CONDITIONING/HEATING - 110V Cruisair reverse cycle air conditioning system, comprising of four units. Webasto diesel heating system. Controls in each cabin.
WATERMAKER - WMS 600 reverse-osmosis watermaker, producing 25-30 gallons per hour.
ICE MAKER - U-Line WH95 ice maker with dedicated inverter.

TANKAGE AND PLUMBING
FUEL - 1,855 litres approximately (490 Imp gallons/588 US gallons) in three GRP tanks.
WATER - 1,204 litres approximately (265 Imp gallons/318 US gallons) in two GRP tanks.
TANK TENDER GAUGES - Wema fuel and water tank gauges (with backup dipsticks) located at navigation area.
HOT WATER - Isotherm insulated tank heated by Webasto Thermo 90 hot water heating system, or by the engine’s heat exchanger.
PRESSURISED HOT AND COLD WATER SYSTEM - Two 45 PSI electric water pumps in parallel with isolating valves. Charcoal water filter.
HOLDING TANKS - Two stainless toilet holding tanks – one forward and one aft with gravity discharge and additional ability to pump out from on deck. Wema tank gauges.
MANIFOLD SYSTEM - Stainless steel manifold for seawater inlets to reduce through-hull fittings.

ELECTRICS
SHIP’S SUPPLY - 12V and 24V.
RING MAIN - 110V AC ring main with outlet sockets located as appropriate within the layout.
OTHER ELECTRICAL SOCKETS - 24V sockets at starboard pedestal and in forward sail locker.
BATTERIES - Domestic: Four 6V Rolls Surrette batteries supplying 820Ah at 24V. Engine start: 24V (new 2019). Generator start: 12V (new 2020).
BATTERY MANAGEMENT - Two Mastervolt MASS 24V/100A chargers with temperature sensors. Mastervolt battery monitor. Regulators. Emergency link.
INVERTER - Mastervolt 110V/6000W inverter to power all sockets, microwave, and watermaker. Dedicated inverter for ice maker.
SHORE POWER - 50A dockside power cable. Hubbell socket behind transom seat. Isolation transformer. European shore power capacity.
INTERIOR LIGHTING - Downlight type halogen lights in polished chrome finish with downlighters over reading areas. Fluorescent lights and downlights in each heads, as well as over the galley work surfaces. Reading light for each berth. Automatic light to fridge. Red ‘courtesy’ footlights at deck saloon steps. Dimmer to upper saloon and aft cabin. Red halogen light at chart table.
EXTERIOR LIGHTING - Boom light over cockpit table. Pair of lower spreader lights. Light mounted in lazarette. Aqua Signal bow and stern navigation lights. Steaming/deck floodlight. Tri-colour light at masthead.

NAVIGATION AND COMMUNICATION
COMPASSES - SIRS Marine Major 150mm (6”) steering compass with internal lighting and substantial stainless steel grabrail, flush-mounted on each steering pedestal. Hand compasses.
SAILING INSTRUMENTS
COMPANIONWAY CONSOLE - Tachometer. 2 x Garmin multifunction displays (new 2020). Simrad depth meter.
PORT PEDESTAL - AP20 pilot at port pedestal.
STARBOARD PEDESTAL - Autopilot. Engine on/off. Various light controls.
PILOTHOUSE NAVIGATION AREA - Garmin chart plotter (new 2017). 2 x Garmin multifunction displays. AP300PX.

AUTOPILOT - Simrad Robertson AP20 autopilot system complete with RPU 200 electro hydraulic pump set. Ram controls at wheel and at pilot saloon navigation area. Second Whitlock autopilot mechanical autopilot connected directly to steering system as backup.
WINDEX - Windex at masthead.
VHF RADIO - ICOM M604 combined VHF and mast hailer at upper pilot saloon navigation area. ICOM VHF COMMANDMIC handset at starboard pedestal.
SSB RADIO - ICOM 802 SSB radio. Wide copper strip from chart table to lazarette and twin large ground plates as SSB earth. Backstay insulators. NB. Owner has not yet used.

SAFETY
LIFE RAFT - Winslow 6-person life raft. Last serviced in 2019.
EPIRB - EPIRB.
BILGE PUMPS - Jabsco engine driven bilge pump with float switch.
DECK SAFETY - Danbuoy. Lifesling. MOB button. Emergency tiller stored in lazarette locker.
