1997 Sea Ray 330 Sundancer
Since 1959, Sea Ray promised their customers a wonderful time on the water. And they did not disappoint with the Sundancer 330. The Sundancer line of Sport Cruisers have generous open floor plans that balances aesthetics with function, for all onboard to relax while getting the most out on the water.
For entertaining, fore-and-aft facing benchseats in the cockpit can be joined by a filler cushion to create a large sunpad. A wetbar with sink and icemaker is standard, as is a cold-water shower at the transom. The engine hatch raises electrically to reveal the powerplants. Other amenities include an undercounter Norcold refrigerator in the galley, along with a Kenyon alcohol/electric range and Goldstar microwave oven.
If you look up the term “express cruiser” in the dictionary, you’ll likely see a picture of the 330 Sundancer. A classic design in express cruisers, the 330 DA has sleeping accommodations for six—two in the V-berth forward, two in the mid-cabin, and two more in the salon with its dinette table that drops down to create a double berth. V-drive transmissions compress the length of the drive train in the engine compartment, so there’s ample room under the bridge deck for a mid-cabin suitable for two adults. While there is no real privacy between the sleeping areas (the forward berth is enclosed only by a curtain), the 330 does have the seating—inside and out—to keep six adults comfortable on a weekend cruise, or a family of four very comfortable for a week.
