The Oystercatcher 16 is a traditional open day boat built to a very high standard. This beautiful example has recently undergone a major overhaul with new hatches, electronics, covers, running rigging, hardware and mainsail.
Stunning little dayboat powered by a 10hp Yanmar inboard diesel engine and offered with a good twin axle road trailer with launching trolley; ideal for exploring the shoal waters of the East Coast.
Yanmar 1GM10 10hp single cylinder inboard diesel engine (Rebuilt and serviced in 2021), raw water cooled, shaft drive to three bladed propeller. Cruising speed approximately 4 knots, maximum speed approximately 6 knots.
Alternator charging to single 12V battery
Gaff cutter rigged. Spruce mast and spars, stainless steel standing rigging, Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing to main with lazy jacks, headsail furling to foresails.
