The Najad 440 is a well-crafted, classic cruising yacht, designed with a focus on both aesthetics and practicality. The vessel features a graceful hull of white gelcoat, a moderately high freeboard for dry sailing, and a spacious teak deck that provides a safe, slip-resistant surface underfoot. The yacht is powered by a strong 90-horsepower Volvo Penta engine, providing reliable propulsion for docking and calm conditions. It is also equipped with a powerful Vetus bow thruster, enhancing manoeuvrability in tight spaces. Additional equipment includes a generator, wind vane self-steering system, radar, and chartplotters, which all contribute to safe and comfortable long-range cruising.

The sails are in excellent condition: the Genoa is only one year old, the mainsail is three years old, and the Cruising Chute, Spinnaker, and Staysail are all as new. These modern and well-maintained sails contribute to excellent sailing performance.
