The Amazing Grace is a 114′ luxury motor yacht. She was built by Derecktor (New York) in 1993, designed by Sparkman & Stephens, interior by Liebowitz and Pritchard. She has an aluminum hull and aluminum superstructure. Her interior is light wood modern classic style. The vessel will accommodate 10 guest in 4 ensuite Guest Staterooms plus a spacious ensuite Owners Stateroom. She has spacious Aft Deck, Main Saloon, Dining Room, Galley, Pilothouse and Fly bridge.
Her twin MTU turbo-diesels are located aft with V-Drive ZF gearbox driving 5-blade propellers. She has 2 Northern Lights Generators (60kw and 50kw) located in the very spacious engine room.
The Salon and Dining Area are accessible from either port or starboard side entrance or from the Aft Salon sliding glass door. The area is well lighted for night time dining and day time with large windows. The Dining area has lots of built-in storage to accommodate China, Serving Pieces and Glass Ware. There is a Day Head located on the Port Side, along with the staircase to the Guest State Rooms. The Main Salon has a Korg Piano aft on the Starboard Side, with a glass storage cabinet above. The Bar Area is equipped with a separate refrigerator & icemaker, Stainless Steel Sink and under cabinet storage. Also a hydraulic window that opens to the aft deck. The entertainment package includes a Sony stereo DVD surround sound system with Blue Ray and 30” Samsung flat screen TV.
The Galley is located On Deck just forward of the Main Dining Area. The counters are Corian type with plenty of storage above and below, Double SS Sink, Whirlpool Dishwasher, Gaggenau five burner cooktop with exhaust fan hood and Bosch Convection Oven. The Traulsen Freezer and refrigerator are separate units and have external temperature monitors. Large pantries are located in the stairway leading down to the crew’s quarters on the outboard side.
The Owners Stateroom is full beam located on the Main Deck with lots of natural lighting. A working desk along with an L-shaped Settee to the port side. Forward are drawers and book shelves along with a Sony flat screen TV. There is additional storage under the Alex Bloom (new May 2020) adjustable centerline queen berth. The forward companion way has four cedar lined closets (one locking), and a Norcold TEK II under counter refrigerator. The ensuite Head has marble floors and countertops. There are double sinks, Head, Bidet, Jacuzzi tub and glass in-closed shower stall.
The Grace has 4 Guest Staterooms on the lower deck mid-ship with ensuite heads. All the heads have glass shower stalls, marble floors and marble counter tops. The North West VIP Stateroom has a sitting area with a pull down Pullman berth, Queen Berth and refrigerator. The North East and South East have Queen Berths. The South West Stateroom has two twin berths. All have Cedar Lined Hanging Lockers and lots of storage. Located in the Foyer is a Miele Touchtronic clothes dryer and Maytag washer.
The forward Crew’s Quarters is accessed from the main galley stair well and will accommodate 4 crew members along with the Captain. The Captains Quarters has an ensuite head and desk area. There are two staterooms with upper and lower berths with separate shower and head for the crew. The Crews Galley is equipped with a Sayno undercounted refrigerator, Gaggenau two burner cooktop Panasonic Inverter microwave oven, Sharp carousel microwave-convection oven. Also in the Crew Quarters is a Miele Touchtronic washer dryer combo unit.
The Electrical System is 240v/120v AC 12vDC. There are shore hookups on the port bow and aft at the swim platform with a Glendinning Cable Master. When under way she is powered by two Northern Lights Generators 60kw (1017hrs.) and a 50kw(485hrs.)
Most all of the Electronics and Navigation equipment are duplicated at the upper and lower Helm Stations. There is a Panasonic intercom system for the ships internal communications, other communications include Standard Horizon LH10 VHF and Hailer and Furuno VHF. Navigation equipment includes Furuno Radar GPS Map 5212, B&G digital course monitor and depth indicator, 7” Danforth Compass, Furuno FCV-522 video sounder, Simrad AP50 auto pilot and Wagner Rudder Angle Indicator.
The spacious engine room is accessed from the aft deck through the hydraulically activated door. She is equipped with Hyda-Power bow thruster and Naiad Stabilizers. Engine room ventilation has two large Hartzell Blowers. The engines are equipped with Airseps and triple Racor fuel filters. The ships Marine Air AC units and two Sea Recovery water makers are also located in the engine room along with the two generators.
You can board the Grace from either the Port or Starboard boarding gates on the main deck with the 10ft. Gangway with dual rails. On the main deck there is a bow seating area with cushions. Also located forward an Electric Maxell 5000 windlasses with chain rode for the SS Danforth Anchor, a bow wash-down and Oceanmaster life raft. Aft on the main deck is a U-Shaped seating area with fixed teak tables. The large upper deck is covered by a Bimini Top from the radar arch forward. The Upper Helm Station has four cushioned helm seats. Just aft of the helm is a large U-Shaped seating area along with a Jen-Air Grill, refrigerator and wet bar. Farther Aft is the Centerline Electric Davit with extension that can access a tender from either Port or Starboard. She is setup to accommodate two tenders either side of the davit.
