The 48 Californian Cockpit Motor Yacht continues to be a very desirable vessel due to her high quality construction and well designed and executed finish.  This very comfortable cruising boat has beautiful traditional lines, is in good condition and is kept in a fresh water covered berth and has been well maintained.

The fiberglass swim platform and walk thru transom door provide easy boarding into the cockpit area.  The cockpit features a fresh hot and cold shower faucet as well as a washdown spigot. In addition, the cockpit features a remote docking station with both throttle and shifter controls for easy reverse handling and close quarter maneuvering.  From the large cockpit there is a sliding access door into the Aft Stateroom for easy ladder free ingress and egress to the Main Salon.

The Cockpit also features a stainless ship ladder leading up to the fully enclosed, spacious upper Aft Deck area.  The large upper Aft Deck features a factory hardtop, full canvas and isinglass enclosure as well as a wet bar with countertop, stainless sink, refrigerator / freezer combination unit and snap in carpet.  Teak wing doors are located on each side of the Aft Deck to provide access to the large side decks leading to the bow.

From the upper Aft Deck, a few steps on the stainless and teak ships ladder take you to the large Flybridge. The Flybridge is fully enclosed with canvas and isinglass and features two swivel captain chairs, a built in L-shaped seating area with a swivel table and raised sun pad in the aft area.  The Flybridge also has snap in carpet flooring.

The interior layout includes two private Staterooms, each with centerline full size beds and en-suite heads with separate stall showers, solid countertops with integral sinks and stainless  fixtures.  Both State Rooms have large cedar lined hanging lockers, ample drawer and cabinet space and the main Aft Stateroom also has a vanity area adjacent to the head.   All the interior of this boat is finished with beautiful, understated wood panels, doors and drawers as well as accents which have all been well maintained.  There is wall to wall carpet throughout the living spaces.

The main Salon has a comfortable L-shaped corner settee to starboard (with full-size pull out bed) and built-in wrap around shelf with storage cabinets below.  A few steps down and open to the salon, the Galley is on the port side featuring the full-size residential refrigerator with separate top door freezer and ice maker, 4 burner electric stovetop, microwave and double stainless sink and ample storage.  To the starboard adjacent to the Galley is a U-shaped dinette with built in comfortable vinyl seating.

This vessel also includes a newer model West Marine hard bottom 11 ft. inflatable dinghy with Honda 15 HP tiller four stroke engine.  The dinghy is stowed on the top of the aft deck utilizing the built in davit system.
