1989 Classic Swell Blue Peter8m

This is a very beautiful and well maintained one owner example of a Swell Blue Peter, designed by the famous Knud Reimers in the 1940s. The current owner, boatbuilder Erik Larsen, contacted and bought the drawings for the boat himself in the 1970s from Knud Reimers. The owner then built the boat at Mosede Bådværft from 1979 to 1989, after which the owner has kept the boat in very good condition. The boat is constructed of larch on oak frames and oak hulls with teak deck and cabin. The mast and boom are made of Oregon pine and the spinnaker pole of ash. The boat is fitted with several fine bronze fittings including 4 Arco winch cups at cockpit, 2 on mast, septer feet, clutches, pullets, fittings on winch bumper and boat chin. The boat is also fitted with Furlex roller forestay, stainless steel water and diesel tanks, a stable salt water cooled Bukh diesel engine, echo sounder, chart plotter and autopilot.
