The Brewer 44 is known as a heavily built long-range cruising vessel with roomy and comfortable accommodations. Her wide beam and high freeboard provide exceptional interior volume while her center-cockpit configuration allows for a secure cockpit and helm position as well as a large and private aft cabin.
Cockpit seats six comfortably and is well protected from sun and wind by a dodger and Bimini. The cabin can be entered through forward or aft companionways. The aft cabin is perhaps the signature feature of this blue water vessel, containing a queen-sized berth and an en suite head with manual marine toilet, stainless steel sink and separate shower stall. There is ample headroom in the aft cabin as well as plenty of storage and light and ventilation provided by multiple opening portlights, overhead hatches and cabin fans, not to mention air conditioning and heat!
The main salon can be entered from the aft cabin through a passageway or from the cockpit through the main companionway. To port in the main salon is the U-shaped galley featuring a 3-burner propane stove, microwave, double stainless steel sink with H/C pressurized water and plenty of counter and storage space. Forward of the galley is the dining area with table and comfortable seating for six. To starboard is additional seating. Beautiful varnished wood, excellent craftsmanship and the finest materials throughout add to a luxurious feel down below.
Forward and to port is a second head accessible to the main salon that features a manual marine toilet, stainless sink with H/C pressurized water, medicine cabinet and mirror. The V-berth up in the bow is spacious and also well-lit and ventilated by large overhead hatch and cabin fans.
Although not technically an element of the accommodations, it's worth mentioning that the engine, generator, compressors for the air conditioner and other mechanics are located in a central engine room under the companionway stairs and easily accessible through a large door to starboard.
