The sailplan is tall and high performance in design and construction. The double spreader rig gives strength to the carefully designed tappered spar. There has been a carefull blend of performance-oriented thinking to keep weight aloft low while insuring a strong mast with good support.
All halyards and the two reefing lines lead aft for easier, faster sail handling from the security of the cockpit.
The reefing lines are reeved inside the boom and exit at the gooseneck to a turning block at the base of the mast. All cabin-top lines are led through line stoppers to maximize winch use.
