By reputation Sigma's are fast boats and Spider is no different. With the fractional rig and running backstays She will point up to windward better than most other boats of her class. she's also a very strong boat and has kept her crew safe in all weathers.
The ships radio and GPS system is backed up by a handheld radio and GPS which are normally held in the grab bag along with an up to date epirb. She also has a modern liferaft which is in service.

All in all a very tidy boat for her age and ready for the next phase in her seagoing adventures. It is with sadness that we must accept we will not be with her, once she goes life will never be the same again,
