FAT CAT is a well-maintained, deep draft, fin keel 1985 Catalina 38 ready for her next Owner. Designed by Sparkman & Stephens, her IOR design is a classic and she performs every bit as well as she looks whether racing or cruising.
FAT CAT spent the first half of her life on Lake Erie and then came to Long Island where she has been raced and cruised by just two owners. She has received recent upgrades including standing and running rigging, new wiring (including the mast), AC/DC panels, inverter/charger, bilge pump, electronics, AIS, VHF, lights, a fully-battened main and genoa, new cushions, the addition of a Selden bow sprit for asymmetrical spinnakers, and more.
