Owners comment:
The battery charger was changed in 2014 before our Atlantic crossing and replaced with a Pro Nautic battery charger which accepts 110V 60Hz and 220V 50Hz currents to charge 12V batteries. After reaching the Azores we were then able to connect this new battery charger directly to the shore 220V grid to charge our batteries.

Owners comments:
The original babystay in front of the mast was replaced with 2 forward lower stays to avoid lifting of the foredeck by the force of the baby stay which has happened on a number of Corsairs and to clear the foredeck for our inflatable. This also makes tacking easier without the genoa hanging up on the babystay. This work was performed by a professional rigger in Charleston.

It is likely to be listed by most surveyors but is not structural or an integral working part of the vessel and is not to be used to further negotiate the price down after survey. We strongly suggest that for your own personal safety that when purchasing a yacht you provide new safety equipment rather than relying on second hand gear.
Should you become the new owner of this yacht then the responsibility to re-register or update official bodies for items such as EPIRB, VHF, MMSI or AIS becomes yours.
