Dutch Build - Van de Stadt Design
Robust Fiberglass, Blue Water World Cruiser
Three Stateroom - Two Heads
"This vessel has no known Hurricane Ian Damage"
“Silver Wing” is a true blue water sailboat and a very comfortable liveaboard cruiser. The center cockpit and raised salon are ideal for long-range cruising and liveaboard comfort. Her beautiful lines will turn heads in any anchorage, and her gorgeous interior will get rave reviews from all visitors.
“Silver Wing”, designed by Van de Stadt, was built in fiberglass by the world renowned Trintella shipyard in Holland. This vessel’s safety and integrity are enhanced by a watertight forward bulkhead, multiple tanks integral to the hull along the keel and stringers every 16”. These structural features make her an extremely sound vessel capable in severe sea conditions. Her versatile ketch rig provides multiple sail options to suit various wind conditions, heavy and light. Both her masts are on tabernacles allowing them to fold down for the canals of Europe or to get under low bridges.
Price reduction September 16th, 2022 - owner looking for offers
I sold Silver Wing to the current owner in March of 2021. The day of closing he moved it to a boatyard to start a refit, which he believed would be 3-4 months. Fourteen months later and over $300,000 the refit is almost 100% complete but his situation has changed and he cannot take advantage of the work done to her.
Almost everything aboard is either new or fully service/rebuilt. All new standing rigging, the deck, bottom and masts have all been Awlgripped, sails serviced, new bow thruster, new windlass, new stack pack sail covers, new anchor chain, all new electronics, new varnish, all new plumbing to the heads, new batteries, new propane stove/oven.
For someone looking for a turn key, offshore cruising yacht - you don't need to look any further
