1983 Sabre 28-3Welcome to SV Spindrift, a Sabre 28 which is the most in demand previously enjoyed 28 foot sloop on the market today. She was sailed on Lake Superior until her owners moved to Oriental, NC where she has been sailed for 20 years. Spindrift is known in Oriental for the success of her crew in Saturday races. Her quality design and build, easy sail handling, and good performance with the modified fin keel and the skeg hung rudder for safety make her the perfect first sailboat for a couple or family who wants to day sail and spend the weekends aboard.
The most recent maintenance includes servicing the seacocks and inspecting the rudder stock, which is in good condition.
