Motivated seller - offers encouraged! Summer is just around the corner, this is a lot of boat for the price.
1982 Morgan 461. A true Blue Water cruiser with a comfortable and seaworthy hull shape. Lots of upgrades and restoration projects, focusing on critical systems such as steering, engine and drive, electrical, instrumentation, plumbing, and deck hardware/hatches. Upgraded navigation and instrumentation. Currently undergoing new barrier coat, bottom paint and new cutlass bearing and stuffing box. Once that project completed, she will be ready to go for quite some time with only some cosmetic work remaining. The boat has been in heated storage 8 out of the 10 winters while in the Great Lakes region, she is originally from the Caribbean, has been in Michigan since 2011.
She will take you anywhere you want to go, and more comfortably than you can imagine. Sleeps 9 adults, with 3 double berths (large, private aft cabin with real mattress, full private V berth, and double table conversion in main saloon) and 2 single berths (1 private companionway walk-through and 1 main saloon), and 2 heads (aft with bathtub/shower combo, forward with shower, forward needs head/holding installed), full galley with separate refrigerator and freezer (Seafrost system) room for 2 to cook together. Huge center cockpit, seats about 10. Lots of ports and hatches to let the breeze through, and equipped with air conditioning and heater if on shore power. Huge bonus upgrade - in 2010 she was re-powered with a brand new Yanmar 75hp Turbo engine. This boat is solid and very comfortable, waiting for the next adventure. Great live aboard option! Priced significantly under survey value! Contact Cyndi for more details!
