43' Hans Christian 43 '80 "Josephine"
The Hans Christian 43 is one of the most sought after boats when it comes to safety and stability. Whether one wants to sail around the world or around the bay, it’s a boat that is comfortable and easy to sail.
The seller purchased this some time ago and has sailed it lightly. It is well-maintained and would be a great boat for someone to live aboard or take cruising.
There is a large cockpit complete with cushions. In the center of the cockpit is the wheel with a compass and controls. As we continue down the companion way on the port side there is a double bed complete with ample storage. Continuing the port side toward the front of the boat there is a galley complete with a four-burner stove and an oven. Forward of the stove is a freezer and to the right of the freezer is a sink with two compartments. Forward of the sink is a saloon which could also be used for sleeping. On the port side there is an area to sleep a single person. Going forward there is also a large flatscreen television. Continuing forward on the port side there is a head complete with a shower and sink. In the forepeak there’s a large double sized birth. From the front of the boat going aft on the starboard side is a hanging closet. There’s also a radio and speakers. Continuing aft there is a hanging locker, a place for a person to sleep and a navigation station with a chart table, and another storage locker.
