Port Townsend Boat Company
Stormy Monday, a Talisman 37, was built by Talisman Yachts in Wilmington, California. She has a Cutaway Keel and is similar to a Challenger 35 that was also built in Wilmington, California, but with an added bowsprit. Stormy Monday is clean, well maintained (by a Pilot) and turn-key.
The boat has a large cockpit with a reverse helm that’s comfortable to sit behind or to either side with great visibility. The side decks and flat house roof are easy to maneuver upon fore and aft. The Sails are in good/very good condition. Powered by a Perkins 4108 with 900 hours!
Down below is well laid out with a navigation station immediately to starboard upon entering the cabin. Aft of the Nav Station is a Quarter-berth and storage. To port is a U-Shaped Galley with a Refrigerator/Freezer, Double Stainless Sink with Hot and Cold Pressure Water and Foot Pump, 3-Burner Stove/Oven, a Microwave and lots of storage in cabinets and cubbies. Going forward takes you to the Salon with a Booth Dinette to starboard, the table has been removed, and a long Pilot Berth/Settee to starboard with lots of storage. Going forward to port is a Full Head with a Shower, Marine Head, Towel Rack and storage. To starboard is a vertical storage bureau. The Main Cabin is forward with a large V-Berth that has a removable center piece, reading lights and storage above and below the berth.
She’s currently on the hard in the Port Townsend Boat Haven. She just received a fresh bottom job and new zincs. The boat also has an onboard Fuel Polishing System. Stormy Monday is ready to go sailing right now!
Showings available by appointment, thank you!
