This Cruiser Longboat shares the same hull as the original Longboat, yet with a cabin. The Cruiser Longboat was introduced and sold side by side with the standard open boat. Introduced in 1970 and replaced in 1979 by the Coaster. This Cruiser Longboat has a small modification as the current owner added a midship helm wheel and engine controls to make it easier to handle when undertaking his research, for which he was awarded an MBE. Otherwise, this example is as original as you would expect. It has been well maintained and includes the mizzen mast, rudder, tiller and boom.
