1976 Comar Comet 7.7010m

Designed by Jean Marie Finot, the Comet 770 is an IOR class cruising boat built from 1972 to 1978 in 236 units by the Comar shipyard. A technique was used for the construction, innovative at the time, without floors: the fin of the keel was therefore bolted to a larger surface than the keel. The solution of arranging the anchor shaft at the foot of the mast is also original, to avoid having weight on the bow. It is a fast boat, easy to manoeuvre, with a light and precise rudder, low heel and low pitching movement. The absence of floors in the rest of the structure also made it possible to have a greater head height below deck, where there is a double cabin in the bow with a marine toilet, retractable kitchen and a saloon with a seat that converts to a double berth.
