1975 NAB 3812m

Islomania is a 1975 NAB 38 long keel, center cockpit cruiser, one of five built during a  between Hallberg (before being acquired by Rassy) who built the hulls, and Nautic-Borcherts of Germany.  A strong, proven ocean going design.

Her center cockpit, walk thru design makes this a very comfortable yacht.  She has two staterooms, one of which has been converted with a desk, storage and washing machine.  Main salon has U-shaped settee to port long settee opposite is an additional berth.  Dinette drops down to form a double guest berth.  Galley is aft to port, nav station opposite.  Walk thru to huge master stateroom with excellent storage and featuring a king size berth. She has great engine access under companionway and access through door in passage way.  

Galley is very nice with new stove and oven, refrigeration, lots of counter space and storage.  SS sink has pressure cold water.

The interior has been extensively remodeled with many new upgrades and striking decor which makes Islomania an ideal liveaboard vessel. 

A proven cruiser as the original owners bought her new, cruised extensively through the North Sea and Med before sailing to the Caribbean.  The second owner (who replaced all of the standing rigging in 2003) had her from 2000 to 2017, living aboard and cruising throughout the Caribbean, over 6,000 k miles.  She will need some upgrades in the electronics before once again cruising but wow, what a delightful place to live in the meantime!
