47’ stunning “modern classic” cruiser/racer.
Klara was designed by the famous Italian naval architect Carlo Sciarrelli for the Mediterranean sea.
Built in 1976 she has a cored fiberglass hull, which was very innovative for that time and has proven to be super strong and easy to maintain. Her deck and interior stands in the original teak. Her condition and shape is still as beautiful and iconic as in the 70th thanks to the high quality of teak and the quality of craftsmanship accomplished by the famous F.lli Marchi boatyard in Venice.
She is not just a beauty she is also a fast sailing yacht finishing in second and third places in the “Spirit of Tradition” class. Her sails are all new, designed by Zaoli for classic racing. In light winds she runs effortlessly 5,5 knots. When the breeze increases, she accelerates smoothly without any tension. In heavy sea and strong winds at close hauled she is very well balanced and allows you to generate an impressive VMG. On reaching and running you can safely stretch her to her max speed of 8,5 knots before you start reducing your sails.
As a summer cruiser she has all the comfort needed for sailing and anchoring in the Med.
She is truly a owners version of a sailing yacht with plenty of space for family and friends. 3 cabins, a two person and a one person in the front and the captain’s cabin in the after with plenty of comfort for him and his wife.
Her classic style sun cover covering from the cockpit to the mast cools you down and protects you and your guests doing the worm summer days while anchoring in a Mediterranean bay.
