The Dutch have a long standing tradition of building the highest quality yachts in the world and this boat is an impressive example. Designed by Dick Zaal who did many Contest and custom designs sailing all over the world, these boats are rare in the US. Built to Loyd’s Standards by Conyplex Marine in Alkmaar-Holland and competing with European builders, one of the first things you notice on entering “s/v Again” is the ribbon cut Sapele similar to Hallberg-Rassy interiors - very tasteful. The interior is bright and clean, with many thoughtful design touches. Safe offshore storage is impressive, and every drawer and cupboard uses the same auto latching handle - No sore fingers struggling to find where the hid the latch! It’s a very thoughtful touch! The cushions just work, and you can get to the storage easily. Under the foredeck is the ribbed ceiling for the v-berth, a strong structural detail not seen on production boats. Aft of the V-berth mater stateroom with hanging locker and drawers is a dressing area to port with more drawers and a head on starboard. This large head has a manual toilet and clever slide out sink. The spacious main salon has traditional settees with impressive storage above and behind. The beautiful solid teak sole and rich wood is warm and inviting. Of course, there are hand-holds and a s/s opening port-light over the stove. The galley on port has amble counter-space, 2-burner gimbaled propane stove, deep sink and microwave oven. The deep well-insulated icebox has fridge, freezer and cold plate. Opposite the galley is the Nav-station with generator controls and electrical panels. The custom covered center cockpit is a strong brilliant design, with tented plex window above so you can see the sails, and hatches to cool the sun-room. Vinyl windows roll down for rainy days. A second stateroom with 2/4 opening port-lights sleeps 2 or more. What a sweet boat, with low freeboard and easy entry. See this boat soon - someone is going to love this boat!
