Designed by Bruce King, the Islander 37 is considered to be one of the outstanding sailing cruising vessels ever, with enough performance that you could race her if inclined. King designed her to actually be a one design offshore racer with a cruising interior. So she’s fun to sail and handles well in many conditions. She has a beautiful interior lush with woodwork with a ceiling height of 6’3”. She will sleep 5 to 6 with the double forepeak cabin, port convertible dinette, starboard settees and quarter berth. The large head is located between the forward cabin and main salon. Doors to both cabin allows complete privacy. The L-Shaped galley is to port of the companionway. She has a keel-stepped, single spreader rig. The keel is a fin with a spade rudder. The owners have moved up into a larger boat on the west coast and would never part with this boat otherwise.
