The Hallberg-Rassy 372 is optimized for comfortable and fast family cruising. The 372 has a comfortable and secure aft cockpit. The modern sail plan makes her very easy to handle. The halyards run hidden under the superstructure to the cockpit .”ARKTOS” has been optimized for fast offshore and single-handed cruising and low energy consumption. "ARKTOS" is outfitted with the optional electric in-mast furling and electric outhaul winch for utmost safety and comfort with the ability to stay in the cockpit at all times without the need of going on deck to reef.
Five flush mounted skylights, a jib furler and an electrical anchor winch, both fitted below deck, all contribute to a clean and uncluttered deck layout. The interior is bright and generous with lots of natural light. There is even a separate shower.
ARKTOS is the newest HR372 on the market today. With only 87 hours on the engine she is literally as close to a new boat as you will get. There are substantial savings compared to ordering a new one and of course you bypass the one year waiting time from the Hallberg-Rassy Yard. She is currently stored up in Maine and can be ready to go with two weeks notice. There's plenty of time to enjoy the season and what better place to start sailing than Maine in the middle of the summer !!
"SAILS LIKE A DREAM" Already after the first tack it was clear: Hallberg-Rassy 372 sails like a dream! She is quick, stiff, easy to steer in all conditions. She moves gently in the water, always under control. It is great fun sailing her!
"Category winner Tjörn Runt" Tjörn Runt is one of the world´s largest inshore races. 471 boats applied 2010. A Hallberg-Rassy 372 won her class. This proves that a comfortable cruiser doesn't need to lack in performance.
