2016 Back Cove 41

The Back Cove 41 is the perfect choice for serious cruisers and is especially suited for the West Coast Waters of British Columbia. This boat has a roomy and comfortable Master stateroom forward with dry head to starboard. The mid berth is ideal for kids or another couple with its own ‘wet’ head to port.

The flagship of the Back Cove fleet, the Back Cove 41 is fitted with an efficient upgrade option Cummins QSM 11 High Output MHP 715 diesel engine, ZF marine gear through a PSS Dripless to a Nibral 4 blade propeller create a 23.6 knot cruise and has an impressive range of 1800 miles at 7.5 knots and burning a mere 1.5 GPH. At WOT of 2500 RPM the 41’ can top out at 28.7 knots with 6 crew and 90% fuel in the tanks. The addition of Sidepower bow and stern thrusters, a 9kw generator set, and reverse cycle heat and air conditioning systems make her maneuverable, fast, efficient, and comfortable. Nautically sensible details and Maine craftsmanship can be found throughout her American cherry interior.

On the main deck, a centralized galley serves the open air cockpit as easily as the salon. The cockpit can seat and dine 6 adults with ease and the aft grill is perfect for BBQ season. The electric window to starboard opens with ease as well as the stainless and glass bulkhead entry door for open air hot Summer evenings.  Long range cruisers will appreciate the dual stainless-steel refrigerator drawers, freezer mounted below the helm seat, ceramic cooktop, and convection microwave. Additionally, below decks at helm is a washer dryer combo for those extended adventures. To starboard, her U-shaped settee converts to a comfortable dinette while enjoying meals on board.

Added this year was an AB 10’ Tender (may be purchased as well) and Seawise Hydraulic Davit system.
