This aggressively priced Blue Jacket is one of the true deals on the sailboat circuit today. The results of a collaboration between Tim Jacket (Tartan Yachts) and Bob Johnson (Island Packet yachts), the performance oriented go-anywhere Blue jacket 40 is a dream to sail and represents a unique blend of safety, build quality comfort and performance, both at the dock and under sail.
With a stunning dark blue hull, white cabin and decks and light gray nonskid, she is a beautiful example of the boatbuilder's art.. She is powered by a 40 HP with approximately 278 hours. The fully battened mainsail is raised with an electric halyard winch and lowers easily into a pocket boom. She also carries an 95% furling jib on a carbon fiber Hoyt self-tending jib-boom, as well as a carbon fiber reacher set on a Harken furler. A finely balanced helm and electric primary winches make for precise control in all conditions. B&G has your electronics fully covered with radar, chartplotter, and autopilot. "All Blues" is equipped with a bow thruster, Webasto Air-top heater, Spectra Ventura 150 watermaker, and Lofrans Project 1000 windlass with 300 feet of chain. The current owner had planned to go cruising, but his plans have changed. If you are looking for a fast, comfortable passage-maker that is ready to go, this is your boat !
