‘Altair’ was commissioned by an experienced sailing couple to circumnavigate the globe in the second Oyster World Rally. Every detail was considered with great care in her design, construction and outfitting and the ultimate result was one of the best and most purpose-built shorthanded blue water cruising yachts ever constructed.
Delivered in 2015, ‘Altair’ is the first and currently only of the popular 475 model to come available on the secondhand market. She has barely stretched her legs going once around the world in favourable trade wind conditions and would be ready to leave tomorrow for another circumnavigation.
