Standard Deviation is hull #6 of the Farr 280 design. She is very well equipped and has been thoroughly sorted out and professionally maintained. She has lots of extras like a BOOM TENT, COMPANIONWAY SOFT HATCH, UPGRADED BATTERY CAPACITY, AND MORE.
The Farr 280 One Design is a racing sailboat by Farr Yacht Design that delivers the excitement of grand prix racing to the under 30’ racing arena. As a modern one design, the Farr 280 delivers contemporary grand prix features and style to a more achievable smaller boat package. The boat has dynamic performance on all points of sail, with a focus on inshore racing for a moderate crew size of five to six people.
With dynamic rig control, the boat can be tuned to sail in any venue, and is well suited towards handicap or mixed fleet racing, often sailing well beyond her rating on many points of sail.

Standard Deviation has had all of the factory upgrades completed and sits in One-Design ready for the right nucleus of F280s. With these upgrades she is race ready! She has also seen very light use with captain care and sail storage in the sailmakers climate controlled facility. Pick her up on her trailer and ship her anywhere in the US or abroad!
