Karma Wins is a 2012 Fountaine Pajot Orana 44 and is now exclusively for sale with the Team at YOTI.
Offered for sale by her original owner, Karma Wins is the preferred owner's or 'Maestro' version and was picked up by her owners fresh out of the factory in France. As a result, Karma Wins is a proven, well maintained and a well specified example.
The Orana 44 has been a hugely popular model by FP and we see many of this models intelligent features remaining on current model boats. Access into the huge cockpit is easy and safe via just two stairs. The cockpit and internal saloon are single level with double doors joining the two areas. The helm seat fits two adults easily and offers excellent visibility while also giving easy access to the cockpit to be able to communicate with friends and family. All lines are led to the three winches here, one of which is electric. Engine location and access simply makes sense - in the sterns, not under a mattress. The engines were upgraded on original order to the Volvo 40's.
The saloon is expansive and modern with a perfect mix of clean white and light wood finishes. The inviting saloon table sits to port (this lowers for an additional double berth) and a dedicated nav station with commanding views is to starboard. The galley with Corian bench tops faces aft and is practical, stylish and is linked nicely to the cockpit by both the window and an additional serving bench top. There is a top loading and separate side loading fridge plus an additional icebox that could be converted to a freezer.
Being the owner's version, the entire starboard hull is dedicated to the master cabin, storage, sitting desk and large private head and shower with separate shower stall. The VIP guest cabin is aft in the port hull and a third double cabin is forward, each of these cabins has its own ensuite. Both bow sections include large storage spaces.
Instrumentation is by Raymarine and includes two colour chart plotters, AIS (transmit and receive), RADAR, and auto-pilot. Karma Wins systems include: a Hubba X wifi system, a hydro/wind generator, water-maker (requiring service), battery charger, inverter, and solar panels with regulator. Sails include the battened mainsail with three reef points, an overlapping genoa, a furling gennaker and storm jib.
This is a larger capacity, sleek and stylish catamaran that performs well and is very easy to handle. Karma Wins equally has the capability to cross oceans or simply be enjoyed shorthanded on local waterways.
