The first H 12 1/2 footer boats were built in 1914 by Herreshoff Mfg. Co, of Bristol, RI, from the original design of Nathanael G. Herreshoff. The unique popularity and longevity of this design has continued for 101 years. She is still considered to be one of the finest, if not the finest, small sailing yacht designs ever created.
GIMLET is a beautiful example of this iconic design, built new in 2009 atop the lead ballast from an original Herreshoff boat by the Rockland Apprecticeshop. GIMLET has been in the care of her origonal owner since new and is in Bristol condition.
Included are a full cockpit cover, sail covers, and custom 2014 Triad Trailer.
New build in 2009 by the Rockland Apprenticeshop from the ballast up.
