This is hull #2 of this Stephen Slaunwhite design.
Her sistership was built about ten years earlier and is locally raced as "Calanova" and is a well proven design.
Carefully built by a craftsman, her hull is riveted above the waterline and bronze screwed below. Butt blocks are used at plank joints and no planks are mated on frames. Her rig is built using laminated black spruce and custom "ironwork". Handmade blocks and deadeyes complete her classic construction.
Offered at a fraction of her custom build cost - ordered new would exceed $120,000; lifestyles changes means she needs a sailor who has time to enjoy her.
Simple and easy to keep - a pleasure to sail singlehanded or with friends; daysail her, overnight her; coastal cruise her or race in the local Schooner Association, the choice is yours!
