Kamalani Kai is a unique vessel, built over a number of years by a local master craftsman. She's now available to a new skipper. She is priced as an estate sale at this time and any reasonable offers will be considered.
In addition to her heavy lay-up bluewater hull and stout rig, the boat has a new John Deere (Lugger) 6-cylinder diesel with less than 10 hours. In fact, this boat has been only very lightly used, so all systems are virtually near-new. To say that this built is over-built would be a huge understatement. Her teak decks alone testify to the original builder's insistence on ensuring all components are bigger/stronger than normal practice.
She is equipped with both diesel forced-air heat and a Marine Air heat-pump heat/AC system. Her 3-stateroom layout includes a very spacious master cabin aft, complete with aft head/shower and custom porcelain sink, along with a small desk and ample storage. Forward of the main salon is a high/low crew bunk cabin to port and a V-berth cabin forward. The main head is to starboard.
Her many systems are supported by ample documentation and operation manuals. In many ways, she competes with bluewater boats offered at many times her asking price.
We have just had the 270 gallon fuel tank serviced, with local vendor Petro Clean removing all fuel (3/4 full at the time), cleaning the tank, and after filtering the majority of the fuel that was still in good condition that fuel has been put back into the tank.
Seller will consider a short-term sub-let of the slip upon completion of sale.

- Please note that the stern railing was damaged by a large power boat attempting to dock. It was removed and one of our local vendors has quoted approx $3500.00 to replace. The estate has elected not to replace the rail and that will be the responsibility of the new owner.
