Brand new listing! Rare opportunity to purchase a 2006 Selene 53 Ocean Trawler from her original owner. She features the three staterooms/two full heads layout, with a private stairway to the master stateroom, a hardtop, a cockpit staircase to the flybridge, and reliable JOHN DEERE engines.
INNU is set up well for long range cruising and for long periods at anchor. Yes, this Selene delivered in 2007 has all the required equipment for life at sea and detailed specifications are contained within this brochure.
INNU is a unique Selene. Compared to her sisterships, she was built at the factory with larger fuel tanks, larger holding tank, a bigger generator, oversized stabilizers, inverter driven AC in the pilothouse, and a high capacity water maker. All furniture was covered in Blue Ultraleather and the salon has a custom five sided leaf table, as well as a pop-up TV. There is teak on swim platform, aft deck, staircase, sidedecks, and flybridge. Additionally, all windows are framed in stainless steel and they look great.
For comfortable living, she has a full size washer and dryer, a small office, trash compactor, opening windows with screens, multiple fans, stainless steel workbench, full aft deck enclosure, a folding cockpit table, and a water softener.
Because redundancy was priority during the build, INNU has a 80 HP get-home engine capable of over 6 knots, twin water pumps, two chart plotters, two radars, four screens, two VHF radios, two house bank batteries chargers, and two high ouput Balmar alternators.
For autonomy, INNU has 900w of solar panels on the hardtop, large Lithium batteries house bank, and Lithium batteries back-up for electronics in the pilothouse.
For security, she has three anchors, two Epirbs, a life raft, FLIR night vision camera, two isolation transformers for safe shore power connections, a full keel and rudder shoe protecting the prop and rudder, and an extra gate on upper sidedeck for easy access to fixed docks. Anchoring is made easier with a Glendinning remote allowing the control of the engine and the thrusters from the bow.
Selene Trawlers are purpose built for bluewater passagemaking; walking around the exterior of INNU you will notice the covered sidedecks, rakish pilothouse windows, Portuguese bridge, ship’s groundtackle and proud bow. The recommended maintenance for the engines, generator, dinghy, and shaft seals was carried out in 2020 and she is ready to go cruising.

INNU is docked in Jacksonville Florida and actively for sale!
The aft deck is completely shaded by the overhead flybridge deck. Teak decking and a beautifully varnished teak cap rail surround the aft deck.
You can access the interior from four locations; from the aft deck, from either side of the pilothouse, and from the flybridge. The opening doors are all watertight and they work well. Stepping into the interior you notice traditional teak joinerwork, teak and holly soles, and sturdy teak grab rails are built into the smart looking teak-battened white headliners. This satin teak interior is aging quite well!
The galley is forward of the salon and separated by the galley counterspace. This space has abundant storage plus all the required chef's equipment to make happy life at sea a reality.
INNU has a three stateroom two head layout. There is a private staircase from the salon down to the master stateroom. The watertight engine room door is located adjacent to the master stateroom entrance. Moving forward from the master, you find a second staircase from the pilothouse to starboard. Opposite the guest's staircase is a guest stateroom complete with a small office. Moving forward from the guest stateroom is the spectacular VIP stateroom and guest head. The entire accommodations deck is built from satin finished teak and teak and holly soles. All lockers throughout the interior are cedar lined. Each head has a separate stall shower and upgraded Grohe faucets. The interior of INNU remains in excellent condition.
Master stateroom is located midship and stretches across the yacht's entire beam. The master is impressive and the ensuite bath is located along the starboard side of the suite. The ensuite head is both roomy and functional. Notice the stainless steel and granite flooring used in the heads of this Selene. These floors not only age well, there is no grout to maintain. The master has ample storage found in hanging lockers, her built in furniture, and even underfoot in the bilges. The mattress was replaced in 2019 and there is a flat screen TV found on the forward bulkhead above a custom louvered bottle cabinet. Stainless steel opening ports and the white headliners with teak battens compliment the yacht’s traditional interior.
The VIP stateroom is located forward and easily accessed via the guest staircase. The walk around queen bed is raised and built on centerline. The VIP is a beautiful space and you really notice all the satin teak joinerwork. Stainless steel opening ports only add to the overall appeal of the VIP stateroom. Lighting throughout the boat is LED and there are LED reading lights at each berth.
The third stateroom is located along the port side of INNU. This cabin has two single berths. There is a factory built teak desk with chair and this makes for the perfect office space. Full size washer and dryer are stacked in a louvered cabinet in the passageway between the staterooms. Fans are located in each stateroom for better air circulation.
From the pilothouse you can go outside from both side doors, up to the flybridge, down to the accommodations deck or back to the salon and galley. The pilothouse has a comfortable settee and table plus there is a single pilot-berth just aft of the table.
There is exterior access to the flybridge via the aft staircase or forward from the pilothouse. The forward area is shaded by the hardtop, there is a L-shaped settee with table just aft of the Stidd helm chairs. A wet bar with Magma Grill and Dometic fridge is located opposite the helm seats. Forward of the wet bar, there is a factory upgraded watertight sliding door made of glass and stainless steel that leads down to the pilothouse. INNU is equipped with a premium suite of navigation electronics.
The boat deck is surrounded by Navy blue Sunbrella canvas which helps to make the boat deck a private place.
Great engine room access from the master stateroom via the watertight engine room door. Also there are two more accesses through a hatch in the galley sole or by another watertight door from the lazarette. INNU engines, generator and PSS shaft seals were carefully serviced last at Huckins Yacht in Spring 2020. Over 21,000 NM logged, this Selene has burned less than 4.5 GPH, including generator and averaged more than 1.4 MPG!
