Interior layout This Legacy 42 has a satin finished cherry interior, and is a galley up two cabin, single head version, with a lower port side pantry, with deep freezer and wet bar area, with extra storage. Master cabin has an island queen with two hanging lockers, air craft styled lockers, and 4 large drawers under berth, large overhead hatch (w/skyscreen) two large stainless steel port lights. Second cabin berth converts to a settee with a large sliding door or a double for guests, two S.S. portlights, and one over head hatch. Galley and pantry have a dark blue (Cobalt Jewel) Corian countertop. The salon is bright and airy, with opening sliding window, two over head hatches (with sky screens), a door at the helm and cockpit, both with Ocean Air screen doors. All windows have texaline covers and shades. Construction The hull and deck are infused with vinylester resign. Hull is cored with corecell foam, and deck is end grain balsa. The end product is a solid and lighter vessel that is quiet and more fuel efficient than a hand laid yacht of comparable size. She also comes with a 10' AB RIB and is equipped with a Sea Wise davit system. .
Iris Dale's ship's power is 4 AGM 8D batteries in two banks, house and engine start. She has a 6 kw Onan Generator for away from dock electicity with it's own start 4 D AGM battery, and a 50 amp shore power cord for dock side power,with a 2,500 watt inverter and 100 Amp battery charger. This yachts sysytems are done to USCG and ABYC standards, and are properly done.
